This lesson was so exciting to me, although was kinda tricky because understanding English jokes is not really my thing. It's not that I have no sense of humor but I'm not pretty good at understanding jokes or strange English expressions with slang words, not even in my first language. I'm not able to say jokes like those ones in any language, either. They're mostly hard to break down. And I think Americans sometimes are funny when it comes to telling interesting or cheesy jokes to each other. After all, I'm so passionate about learning English as my second language because I wanna work and live abroad, I still hold on to the big desire of moving to the USA 🇺🇸 someday. I'm a hardworking learner with my English fluency journey and I don't have in mind trying to get discouraged or give up which is the worst thing I can do. Thanks a bunch for being a charming, smiling and kind English teacher, Vanessa ❤🌹.

Why 6 gets scared from 7 ? Because 7 ate 9 (789).

Hi Vanessa! "English is a difficult language. It can be understood through tough thorough thought, though." That was a funny tongue-twister! I remember one English joke, which plays on words. This pun goes like this: Oh my gosh, you're a fantastic pole vaulter! Yes, I am a Pole, but how did you know my name is Walter!

1 What's the difference between a cat and a comma? — One has claws at the end of the paws. And one has a pause, at the end of a clause | There's a slight pause at the end of the clause.

2 Are you from Tennessee because you're only 10 I see / Cheesy joke / Cultural reference a term you'd use with smo who is extremely beautiful

3 When it rains, it pours(poes). It is a bit twisting. Making it a little bit of a nerdy joke Dark and gloomy not much sunshine and joyfulness in his writings
English is a pretty difficult language it can bee understood *through tough thourough thought, though*

Vanessa, I am not so sure if the following description can make you laughing.
Ajji was from Asia recently. He was now in a Walmart and urgently needed to get into a restroom. On the way to ask someone, he was practicing the word "restroom" because he was not fluent at the pronunciation of English words and often mixed one word with another. He recited the word "restroom" in his mind to prepare his question. While he was approaching to a place looks like a restroom. An employee inside the Walmart asked him, "what are you looking for, Sir?", Ajji immediately responded, "restaurant".
