An outline of how a parity check is conducted within communication systems. Remember an extra bit is added to each bracket, when this bit makes an even amount of 1's its considered and Even Parity, an odd amount of 1's is an Odd Parity. An error is detected when the receiver does not receive data for the designated parity (Odd or Even) that was determined during Handshaking.
