Great comparison. I solely use the X4 for fun, quirky shots. It’s perfect for that. It’s a lovely gimmicky camera and have been using it since May this year. My experience has been pretty good so far. It’s my first 360 camera. I incorporated the 360 footage in one of my travel videos (the Seoul 2024 video) and in my opinion it’s a great addition to my Fuji footage. For the quick shots I still grab my GoPro 7 even though I’m not a big fan of action cams. It still holds up quite well though. I like how the kids are willing to get involved on your reviews by the way. 😊

Really appreciate your detailed reviews and walk throughs. I also really like that you included your family in your videos as well. It honestly reminded me of my own style. i have an x3, an ace pro, and just got an x4 last week and havent had a chance to take it out yet to play. i would have ordered an ace pro2 if they had been available. the go3s is not on my radar for the type of shots i like to get. great video.

The Insta360 X4 is a solid choice for capturing 360 video, especially if you’re into hiking or cycling. The 8K resolution was a big selling point for me. It’s waterproof, though I only use it in the rain occasionally. The app offers plenty of editing options, but it takes some time to get used to. The touchscreen could be larger, but it's still manageable.which pairing it with mounts and accessories from IdolFoto or Smallrig. Their high-quality gear made it easy to capture stable, dynamic shots from every angle.

Really good comparison and examples when to use each one. I totally agree with you about the X4 (which I love), I just cannot leave my Canon R7 when I want the best pictures and although bulky still small Action camera (currently I have a DJI Action 5) is still not good enough to replace the R7.

Great cameras and the X4 is really versatil. However compared to the ace pro etc its really not 4k after reframing. And that is very clear in the comparison. We need a 360 camera with 1 inch sensor etc so we can reframe so that end result is truly 4k. Hope the X5 will deliver this.

Funny thing is, those are the 3 cameras I have. They all serve their purpose. My favorites are the Go 3S and X4
