Here's some backstory on the Mr. Chew, Delaware

Samuel Chew was the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware until his death in 1744. Many people mock his name by saying "Ah Chew" or make chewing motions with their mouths. When he died, those who mocked him more for some reason. The spirit of Mr. Chew would haunt those who mocked him, so if you came across his spirit and sneeze he would chase you. The residents would not come out at night due to sightings of him. Until they decided to hold a nice funeral for him, his spirit was put to rest.

Here are all the stories mentioned!❤

Pls like this comment cause this took lots of time to do😢

1.Gore Orphanage.
It is said that the Gore Orphanage was in operation sometimes in the 1800s. A mysterious fire started in the building that quickly engulfed the entire structure. Lining up all the usual suspects from all the different versions, the likely cause of the fire was one of the following:

Old Man Gore—the owner of the orphanage who was either attempting to collect some sort of insurance money or just simply hated children.

Disgruntled Male Employee—While he is never named, this shady character had some sort of beef with orphanage owner Mr. Gore (who, in this version, loves children) and decided to exact his revenge.

Unknown Crazy Man—Again, this figure is never named. All that is ever told about him was that he lived in the woods surrounding the orphanage and hated all the noise that the kids made.

An Accident—The most common version of the accident story has one of the orphans accidentally knocking over a lantern. In another version, the lantern is kicked over in the nearby barn, but the fire quickly spreads to the main building of the orphanage.

Regardless of how the fire started, the results were catastrophic. Presumably, none of the orphans were able to escape the blaze and all perished. In the aftermath, authorities took away Mr. Gore's license and refused to allow a replacement orphanage to be constructed on the site. Nearby townspeople wanted nothing more than to quickly forget the tragedy and simply razed what remained of the burned out shell of the orphanage and allowed nature to take its course and reclaim the land. Out of sight, out of mind.

But such a tragic event isn't going to fade easily, and in this case, the tragic fire somehow left a "stain" upon the area. Locals began whispering that you ventured out to the remaining ruins of Gore Orphanage at night, you would see the ghostly shapes of the dead orphans running and playing in the woods. Sometimes, the children appeared to be on fire and yelling and screaming things like "help me" as the foul stench of burning flesh filled the air. Other late-night visitors reported seeing bright lights swirling and weaving through the woods, which they took to be the ghosts of the dead children. And those who believed the orphanage fire had been intentionally set sometimes felt the spirit of the guilty party makes an appearance at the site in the form of a dark, shadowy shape lurking near the foundation remains.

A final occurrence at the orphanage site was people who parked and left their cars near the remains would find it covered with tiny handprints when they returned. In such an isolated area, anyone else coming into the area would quickly be discovered. The only explanation was that the ghosts of the orphans were attempting to physically push the car away from the orphanage, perhaps in a ghostly warning to stay away lest the car owner suffer a fate similar to theirs.

2.The Bunny Man.
The Bunny Man is an urban legend that originated from two incidents in Fairfax County, Virginia, in 1970, but has been spread throughout the Washington, D.C., and Maryland areas. The legend has many variations; most involve a man wearing a rabbit costume who attacks people with an axe or hatchet.

Most of the stories occur around Colchester Overpass, a Southern Railway overpass spanning Colchester Road near Clifton, Virginia, [1] sometimes referred to as "Bunny Man Bridge".[2]

Versions of the legend vary in the Bunny Man's name, motives, weapons, victims, description of the bunny costume or lack thereof, and sometimes even his possible death. In some accounts, victims' bodies are mutilated, and in some variations, the Bunny Man's ghost or aging spectre is said to come out of his place of death each year on Halloween to commemorate his passing.

3.La Mala Hora.
In Chiapas, the southernmost state of Mexico, they tell of La Mala Hora (or La Malora or La Malogra). She usually appears as a beautiful long-haired woman dressed in white, walking along the side of the road at night. Men who encounter her are so taken by her beauty and seductive ways that they follow her mindlessly, with no heed to where she’s leading them.

The lucky few who have met La Mala Hora and lived to tell the tale say that while following her, they lost their sense of direction. If they carried a lamp, it would suddenly stop working. Luckily, these fellows noticed that the lovely lady they were following floated, rather than walked. Or they noticed that her toes were backwards. Those poor victims who don’t look down at La Mala Hora’s feet will follow her to their doom, as she leads them over the edge of a ravine.

And if you see La Mala Hora on the road dressed in black, then look out! She is far more fierce and aggressive in her black-clad form.

Tomás Kaufman collected a Mala Hora story, told in Mochó, a dying Mayan language spoken in Chiapas, in 1967. In this story, the storyteller refers to our monstress as La Mala Mujer (“the evil woman”):

A man from Motozintla had a girlfriend in Amatenango. One night, as he was on his way to visit her, he ran into a woman on the road. She looked like his girlfriend.

“Since you were coming to see me, I came out to meet you, ” she said. “I’ve brought all my things. Let’s run away together.”

“Are you serious??” the man asked. He couldn’t believe his luck. But then he looked at the woman more closely, and he saw that her toes were on backwards!

“You’re not my girlfriend, ” he said.

“Of course I am!” she said. “Now let’s go, before my father finds us.”

The man insisted that she lied, but she denied it.

“No, you don’t fool me.” And the man slipped a blindfold on the woman and began to hit her until she ran way.

The next day, the man got a needle, then went to the priest and had it blessed. That night he walked the road to Amatenango again. He ran into La Mala Mujer on the way, again posing as his girlfriend, and this time he pretended that he believed her. They ran away together, and after some time they arrived at a little glen, where they stopped to rest.

The man pretended to feel romantic, and leaned over to embrace “his girlfriend.” As they sat down, he slipped the blessed needle beneath her without her noticing. The needle stuck her to the spot; she couldn’t get back up. Then the man left and went back for the priest.

When they returned after dawn, La Mala Mujer was still there, with her hair streaming all around her. The priest told the man to hit her with a branch, while the priest prayed. Just as the priest began his prayers, and the man raised his branch, the woman vanished.

And that’s The End

1 like for part 2! Nvm I liked my own comment 😢

My hands hurt 😭

Anyways..

4.Mr.Chew.

Samuel Chew was a normal guy with normal job but with a weird name. He was the Chief Justice in Delaware in the 1700s. He was tormented on the daily for his name. As he walked, some would mimic a sneeze or pretend to chew on something. Apparently, people in the 1700s were ruthless in their roasting strategies because as soon Mr. Chew died, he started haunting the place.

Farmer David Hendricks was the first to see the apparition of Mr. Chew. He alerted his wife and children. Eventually, the news spread all around Dover and more sightings of Mr. Chew were reported. Mr. Chew was dressed in a judge’s robe and a white powdered wig. It was reported that the ghost would pull on male’s tail coats and send shivers up women’s spines. He was relentless in his haunting and targeted anyone who dared come near him.

Out of fright, people closed up shops and stayed indoors. Children were not allowed to play outside anymore. No one socialized after dark. Things got so bad for the people of Dover that a town meeting was held on how to deal with the ghost. They decided that the way to rid of Chew was to hold a funeral.

The people of Dover held a funeral for a ghost- the spirit of a dead person. The citizens of Dover buried an empty casket under the tree where he was sighted the most. Occasionally, Mr. Chew haunts any person who makes fun of his name, but other that than the funeral worked in suppressing the ghost.

Thats all! Pls like this comment since this was hard to make bye!❤

Here's some backstory on the Bunnyman, Virginia

According to local lore, the bridge in Fairfax County is one of the most dangerous locations in Northern Virginia. If you are under the bridge at midnight on Halloween, and would be butchered by the Bunnyman. In 1904 mental patients were relocated via bus, that bus crashed. All by one patient was located. The escaped mental patient was named Douglas Griffon. Weeks passed, and rabbit corpses began appearing in the woods. Douglas was apparently eating bunnies to stay alive. This went on for a while. Then one Halloween night, a group of kids were hanging around a bridge. It was reported that the teens were strung up like bunnies, gutted and hanging from the bridge.

Here’s one from Maine: The Sabattus Well Decent. A group of teenagers were at a well behind a cemetery. One of the boys was dared to descend the supposedly haunted well. He agreed and was lowered into the well until he was no longer visible to the group. After a while they all noticed there was no movement and pulled the boy up. Upon seeing him, however, they saw that his hair was white and he was shaking, he looked like an old man. He was mumbling and laughing maniacally. The boy never recovered and it is said that you can sometimes hear his screams from the mental hospital where he currently lives.

Those who are waiting for that one person who writes the explanation here ya go:

The gore orphanage::
So basically they used to kill parents and when the kids came they tortured them and put ghosts into them through power and let them, die in the woods but there spirit lives on haunting it.

Bunny man::
On a hill in Virginia there was a man who escaped from a mental assuylum and went on a killing spree, and to hide his depressed in a bunny costume, people say under the bridge a car hit him but others say his ghost still wonders around killing innocent children.

La mala hora::
So a girl called Mala hora, was walking alone in the woods and all of a sudden she fell into a suicide pond, her ghost lives on to this day killing everyone who walks near, with an evil smile on her face repeating the words “i see you, I kill you, like what you did to me”

Mr chew::
He was a man very tall (like slender man) and he had an axe with him and when ever someone talked about him saying the word chew he jumped at this and possessed them.. he is dead now and has not lived to this day but people say his Axe is somewhere in Epping forest with blood on it

Hope this Uhm helped. Sorry if I scared u 😭 btw I know this bc my sister is a monster Forum/ investigator (meaning when people upload creepy sightings she goes an investigates them)

I live in Ohio and there is a statue of a little girl near this school that was built shortly after her death. Her father used to bring the statue flowers every day but after his death, they kept appearing. People would camp out all night and never see someone come or any flowers be dropped off but they some how appeared. This has happened for i think almost 30 years.
