5:49 Wait...this guy abducts ELEVEN kids, takes them for fast food, and gets 10 months in prison?! The 70s were insane

The craziest part about the hermit story is having a pair of glasses that last for 30 years. Especially under those conditions.

Known Child kidnapper goes to jail, children stop disappearing, he gets freed, they start disappearing again, cycle repeats

Not gonna lie, that transition from "a plant that drove a family insane" to warthunder add was hilarious

If the Le Loyon story is about a disfigured person then that’s very sad that they had to stop. At a prior job I would take walks during lunch and there was a very disfigured lady who would walk the opposite direction. At first I would smile and say hello but she would turn away. I eventually just smiled and nod and she would return the nod. I hope she is doing ok

The hermits story would be scary if it happened to you, but knowing the truth, it’s more sympathetic. He was unethical, but he just wanted to live a simple life off the grid.

As someone who grew up in Maine and was in school when Christopher Knight was found if I remember correctly in the news his whole reason for taking to the woods was out of fear of the Cold War escalating after the Chernobyl Incident.

Fun fact: Datura is absolutely broadly a hallucinogen, more specifically though it's a deliriant, a term coined to distinguish substances like Datura from psychedelics like LSD and shrooms. The main difference being that you have a terror-driven spooky time instead of an enlightening trip or some fun colours. The most common deliriant is actually Benadryl in large doses, where people talk about seeing shadow men and having terror induced panic-attacks.

Nothing better than eating a hot meal while watching a Chilling Scares video

Kinda feel bad for Le Loyon, bro just wanted to walk around in the woods. In fact they weren't even hostile towards people.

It's unbelievably funny you've added Purple Aki into this video. I used to get told he hid in the woods by my school.

The story of Le Loyon is just sad. A completely harmless creature that just wanted to live in peace, harassed by the media until they decided to end their existence, one way or another…

Bunny man story: Northern Va resident here - you actually can’t even visit the bunny man bridge on Halloween, the police block it off every Halloween. But I have been there on a summer night at 3am and took a picture with some friends and there was a shadow figure in the back. Idk true legend or not it’s definitely creepy there

I can't be the only one who feels bad for Le Loyon. They just liked to walk in the woods and people had to ruin it :(

When I clicked on this I was absolutely not expecting the words “West Hobart” to be said. I’m Tasmanian and lived in West Hobart for years.

About that hermit who stole from others, I’m almost 100% sure he chose to isolate because of bullying in his youth. He didn’t seem like a bad person at all.
