If it was just me, you could do 10 of these color scheme roulette videos in a row and I would enjoy watching them all!

Really enjoying these color cube models. It would really be cool to do shorts with just these random pulls. Another neat concept would be to pick an army you want to paint, pick three models from the same unit, paint one with a color card of your choice and the other two with random pulls from each box. Then have the community vote on the best looking one and commit to painting the army in that scheme in a follow up video.

After your last video on this I purchased one and wrote their customer service to tell them about the video. They are almost all gamers there! They love the video too! When you buy the cube it comes with color matching downloads for paint brands like Prisma Color, etc. I suggested they add some for Citadel, Army Painter, etc. They are going to look into it. It's a great tool and the downloads are a real bonus - thanks for introducing it to everyone in this community!
Great video - as always

I am an old guy that is relatively new to the hobby. Painting has been very intimidating - and I always struggle with where to begin. Your videos have been great and inspire me to simply try stuff and not worry too much about it. This is another great 'place to start' and lowers the barrier to just dive in and grab the brushes! Thanks, and please keep them coming! As others have stated, I could watch an entire series based on random pulls from the cube.

Every time I see someone pull out the color cubes for minis, I get excited. Partly because the creator of them (Sarah Renae Clark) is here on YouTube and does 2D art, often in coloring books. Partly because I know I'm in for a great adventure in color. But, mostly because I'm always interested to see how folks are using the colors they get.

Your Darktide intro reminded me of when I worked in a music store and we sold "High School Musical: The Musical, The Series: The Soundtrack, Season 2." Thank you for pushing through, even at the risk to your sanity.

For those looking for a slightly cheaper (and less space-consuming) option, they also have two "Color Catalog" PDFs. I believe those are basically the same color schemes, only in PDF form instead of as a bunch of physical cards.

Love seeing more color cube videos! It's so interesting to see how you use the limited palette given by the card to work through the problems of the model, especially for things like the skintone, which I'd have never thought to have gone with those colors for, but on the finished model it just looks great.

Glad the cube company reached out to you! I commented on one of their insta ads asking them to sponsor you so I could see the cube in action more

TBH both your paintjob and the color composition look awesome, you did a great job considering the constraints, I would love to see more challenges like that one!

Bro, freaking love your take on the ads. Great puns, not too over the top, honest, and creative. That, plus the content is killing it. It's been so fun watching your content improve over the last couple years - thank you immensely for what you do. Helps keep us all a little bit sane. :)

I went and bought one of the colour cube sets off the back of your first video. Honestly they’re great. I’ll be using it for my own upcoming PC projects.

Even if you have a good grasp of colour theory, it’s just way too easy to fall back on what you know and like. These cards are just great for experimenting and removing a bit of subconscious bias from your choices.

That process with the colour cubes works great. All too often people try to replicate the standard paint scheme which really inhibits creativity. I thinks it’s a great idea. Would be great to see you tackle a large miniature with the same process.

This works. I love working with limited color pallets. It forces you to be creative, and to really push your understanding of color theory and blending. You can keep making these videos any time.

I've only been painting for about 4 years since lockdown, but watching your videos makes my new hobby more enjoyable. Thanks for not being too serious .you present the show great .

I painted this miniature in almost the same colours (a similar blue and yellow) and now I'm dying because of the firefighter comparison.

Love this! The mini looks ace.
You could mail out a random card to other creators and challenge them to get involved, and paint a mini using the card

This is great. The game reminds me of the TTS the miniatures game that was featured by Crabbok last month.

I agree with others. This is a cool way to find and use paint combos.

Card 290 is pretty much my Tau scheme for the past decade. I come from Adobe KULER colour tools background, so it was not random that I settled on that scheme - for the uninitiated in colour theory - those color cubes are a brilliant idea!
