because of my ehlers danlos syndrome and subsequent stretchy skin, my ears were SUPER stretchy to begin with- that kind of made me too overconfident with them lol, so now my left ear is extremely slow because i damaged it. even if your lobes are super stretchy, don’t get cocky! you’ll regret it 😭

this makes me feel a lot better about my stretching journey! even when I'm trying to take as good care of them as I can, they're really just not that stretchy and I have pretty small lobes to begin with. Thus far its taken about a year for each size up for me 😅

I’m excited to stretch my ears because i have INSANELY stretchy face skin, and all things considered, my septum was a breeze to stretch. I just hope I don’t get too cocky!

One of my lobes is not very flexible because of quite a bit of scar tissue. I got from having a few infections when I was little because I got my ear pierced at Claire’s. I also have like super not stretchy skin. I’m like covered and stretch marks I’m basically one big Scarr this video was helpful though

My skin over all is tight as hell. You can’t even pinch my skin without actually hurting me in order to do it. Despite that I was able to stretch up to a 2g without issue HOWEVER, my ears refuse to heal. They are healthy and clean but let me leave pugs out over night. I will go down almost a whole size it’s crazy

My ears aren't stretched but in the winter it feels like all the heat is being dragged out of me. I've heard horror stories about increased frost bite risk it and makes sense to me

My ears are naturally stretchy!! Went from normal piercing gauge to 20mm in about 2 years and yhen back to 16mm in half a year hahah

They are mostly attached tho so I had to stop at 20mm

I got my lobes pierced with a gun 15 years ago as a child. Two months ago I stretched from 18g to 16g and it felt pretty spicy. My piercer used a taper and put in a high quality titanium labret. The first days after the stretch there was some secretion coming from the piercing and even now the skin around the piercing is paler than the rest of the ear.
When is it safe for me to go up to the next size? I doubt that my ears will loosen enough on their own to just put the next size in...
Will all of this be easier one I reach sizes where I can use glass plugs instead of labrets?
