Today is a snapshot in our math journey. We have a simple current routine.

1. A math fact worksheet or math fact quiz
2. Either a new or review lessons from our text book
3. Review flashcards (drill or with a game)

Pretty simple huh!

Resources shown today are linked below as well as a few of our favorites not shown but often used. Amazon links are affiliate links. Thank you for supporting my channel!

Great video! This gave me some ideas on how to implement the Number Stories books into my kids' math lessons (the ones that aren't independent yet). I wish I would have known about those books earlier. I can see how they can teach math logic in a gentle, interesting way. I have my older kids review math fact flashcards, too. I broke up all the facts into little chunks of about 60 facts, and they use those as a warm-up before a saxon lesson.

Hey there, I love your channel!
I have a" 1st grader, "and we are struggling with math facts. He does extremely well with counting but addition facts other than 1 and 1 and 2 and 2, etc, he struggles with.
We have used number stories, TGTB, CM elementary math, and mom delights free math curriculum, and we are still trying to master addition.
I have purchased kindergarten dimensions math.
I am a little deterred and questioning my skills at teaching .
I just want to nuture my little ones' skills and not damper his natural love of learning .
Any suggestions for my little boy?
This is my second year of homeschooling so, just trying to find what will work for him.
I love vintage reading and math.
He definitely is taking off with reading the Mcguffy's eclectic primary readers.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Ps... I have purchased your reading curriculum, and we love them!
