The way I worked out 897 x 5 really quickly: 897 is only 3 away from 900. So I multiplied 900 by 5 (4, 500), then subtracted 3x5 (15), to get 4, 485. It's something I've done for as long as I can recall (a LONG time, as I'm 48 now!). This is a fun and interesting introduction video, Chetna! 😊
