As an American I am not familiar with British brands. Today I am very interested in learning about the most popular British brands and curious to see if I recognize any. If you enjoyed the video feel free to leave a comment, like, or subscribe for more!

Tyler lives in a sensory deprivation capsule on Planet Zog. He is aware of very little. 🤣

Dr Martens were founded in 1945, long before "fashion" was invented. I was wearing them in the 60's.

"The world's biggest brand of whisky is from Scotland???" Said with surprise.
PEOPLE THE WORLD OVER CALL IT SCOTCH!!! The drink has literally passed into the lexicon to be named after the country that invented it and makes (arguably) the best. I'm English and I'm offended on behalf of Scots. 😅

Durex does sell quite a lot in America but they had to make them smaller than British ones for the US market

"I feel like it's just me." At long last Tyler recognises that he might not be such a "typical, average American" after all...

Tyler lives under a rock! I'm a yank and the only one I hadn't heard of was ASOS... then again I'm old.

Hate to break this to you but American did not invent whisky. It was invented and popularised by the Scottish.

Tyler not listening again. Doc Martins have been around for decades (after all punk was the 1970s). 2011 they added a clothing range. Tyler should put on the subtitles and read them.

Glenfiddich distillery is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky.
It makes US whisky look like acid

I'm surprised at some of these choices, but not every UK brand can be listed. Those I might have listed would be: BP, Unilever, Land Rover, HSBC, and after Covid, AstraZeneca. Btw, Tyler, there are 84 million US subscribers to BBC America. You need to get out more. 😅❤

A glenfiddich 50 year old will cost you about $50k for a bottle

Cadbury in USA is made by Hershey, therefore it doesn't taste the same

Don't worry Tyler, you will have forgotten all of this by tomorrow!

Many people, like me, wore Doc Martens in America in the 70's. The narrator said that the company also launched a clothing range in 2011. How did you not understand that?

Glenfiddich is described as malted because it is made of malted barley which is the case of all good whiskey(or whisky), not like popular American whiskeys which also use rice, wheat, rye, and corn. Scotland also produces such a product known as grain whiskey.

The only reason that Trojan outsells Durex in the USA is because the Trojan product is smaller.

The boots have been on sale for decades, you should have listened to what they said at the beginning when they talked about the boots. its the clothing side of the business that is new.
