Yes OLED is better, but right now you can by 2-3 IPS monitors for price of single oled. So IPS is pretty good for the price it comes at.

Burn in isn’t something people should worry about. It takes years for image burn in to happen on a functional oled monitor. Just use it the same way you’d use a normal monitor and do your pixel cleaning regularly. I’ve been doing this a year and have had zero issues

Is OLED good for video editing and text display? Video editing softwares usually have static elements on them so is it something that can cause a burn in? Also I heard that there are issues in text display on OLED monitors. Would IPS panel be a better choice?

I just bought an AOC 24G2SPU IPS monitor and the colors on it don't look as good or as vibrant as they do on the OLED screen on my phone.
Is it normal? Apparently IPS screens have very good colors?

Ips is awful. A good modern VA panel with local dimming can have almost the same black levels as oled, while being able to get multiple times brighter
