I used the Sony A6600 to capture the footage. Video settings was the same across all shots. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Pay 300 for bad black,
1000 for bloom,
Or 1000 for burn in
Hard choices

i think mini led is the best overall, it has the best of OLED and IPS without the risk of burn in

Even with YouTube’s terrible bitrate you can clearly see how much worse IPS contrast is than the other two

Once you go oled, you dont go bsck.
The image clarity, the motion clarity, the contrast, the colours, etc. Its just something you have to experience.

Burn in isnt really an issue anymore. Can it happen, yes. But it's hard to get it now.
My C3 has over a thousand hours of display time as a monitor. And over 350 hours of a game loke ff14 which has a heavy vibrant HUD, and still nothing.

2304 zone mini-LED is the best choice, I don't play at 4K so there is zero visible blooming for me at 1440p.

Mini led more brilliant and not risky of burn 🔥 and better price

I'm absolutely delighted and satisfied by the comparison in your video, and it helped me make a choice, because they just discontinued the model I had chosen (while I was waiting for the price to go down) and I didn't know what to do. Now I have a clear choice -thanks so much..

There is no way people going to really be objective on the opinion if they are watching this video In a VA panel.. IPS and OLED are going to show a difference.. but not the right measurement

Surprisingly black on miniled is close to oled

Oled isn't a safe display choice. And it's ridiculously expensive, plus you can't fix it if anything goes wrong. Organic matter are too sensitive to handle. Mine oled just died automatically without any physical damage and now I have to just Trash it down.

Thats for video, nice comparison. It may have its imperfections, but it clearly shows the benefits and drawbacks of each tech. Except for burn in, but that's hard to capture on camera.

Is the OLED properly color calibrated? It look off, color temperature is way too cold for a properly calibrated OLED. It look blueish at time.

Yeah you got great blacks and contrast with oled but colours just look way more natural on mini led.

On my LG monitor.. IPS with HDR preset (set black level on, first, because you can't change it once you set it to HDR) looks way better than anything else with all these blacks and HDRs on.

Awesome video.

IPS: low contrast which causes the picture to look bland

Mini LED: Far from IPS, closer to an OLED. In small specular highlights it shows its weakness, ie. 2:14. In completely bright pictures it will look more impressive. But even relatively easy pictures to show its local dimming high contrast, it falls short: 2:30 check the sky.

OLED: Overall the best. It's known downsides are the burn in possibility.

Amazing video and wonderful music. Thank you so much for comparison!

Why does the oled look like it has a almost screen door look to it?

did you turn on local dimming on the neo g8? if it were glossy rather than matte, it would have given the oled a run for its money

2:03 this is why I love OLED. If I did not play space games I would simply just get IPS for peace of mind (yes, burn can happen even on new OLED displays)
