Lacking wireless charging, finger print sensor, water resistance?
WTH are you expecting from this phone? time travel?
How about to compare it as a daily driver with other Android and iOS devices from that time?

I owned this phone back in the day. Loved it. Had this color as well. Thanks for the blast from the past and the nostalgia! Android has come a long way !

My very first android smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S2, which I quickly replaced with Note 3 because of it's poor battery life.

My first was a Galaxy S2.

Back in 2012, it blew my mind that I could use the full internet ANYWHERE, and it changed my life forever.

Up until 2016, I was still using the S2 as a second camera whenever I traveled. It is still definitely usable today, supports many apps and 3D games, and isn't too laggy.

Ok the track pad is damn genius. The keyboard is still a good idea in 2017 and I bet you can make it super thin these days.

My first Android was Xperia X8 running 1.6 Donut. Fabulous phone for its time.

My first android phone was the Moto G 3rd gen and yes, it is still usable in 2017. Very usable in fact because it supports android marshmallow.

I remember having this also as my first, since it was relatively cheap, my mom and bro had it too. I noticed quickly that the cameras varied. You got the crappy one.. was so happy T-Mobile upgraded us to the newer mytouch for free

My first android was LG G2, and I'm still using it, had nokia 5530 for like 5 years before that though, difference was huge.

You're lucky you can still try out your phone. My old G1 won't even turn on because the battery is worn out and the power button probably needs to be replaced.

I would like to see more videos like this. Android Authority re-visits the old days of Android.

Dude, this takes me back. My first Android phone was the HTC Hero. It had a trackball, y'all. Not a trackpad. A trackBALL.
