Why do I feel like this documentary is a deliberate ploy to demarket the project .

The city is currently experiencing an upsurge in construction activities. The growth in recent times has been impressive. It’s a city of mixed used developments and also needs to look natural. It will definitely take deliberate efforts and time to achieve all these. Why the rush?
Mall, school and other developments are also there there already. The amount of construction cranes in the city at the moment is mind blowing.

The developers of the city are not complaining like those who can’t afford to get even a square meters of land in the city.
Common guys !

What happens to neighbouring communities like Kuramo Beach? Are the authorities waiting for them to be drowned and washed into the ocean? Don't these communities deserve protection too?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Perhaps if Leaders such as Tinubu, Obasanjo, Goodluck Joanthan and the most forgettable last president who spend most off his time getting medical treatment on the UK most likely at the expense of the nationals fiancee then perhaps Eko City and all the necessary infrastructure in Nigerian would have been further head than it is now. Rwanda, Bostwana, Namibia are more advance than Nigerian in terns of infrastructure. How long have we been independent? Like my mum says Nigeria has nothing to show for it. The average Nigerian is trying to leave the country, Universities, hospitals are not funded, no jobs for the youth, consistent power cuts. I can go on, it is awful that we have so many intelligent Nigerians in Nigerian who do not have opportunities and those of us living abroad are using out knowledge and skills to build another country, while Nigerian is lead by corrupt and as far as I am concerns unintellegent individuduals

Eko Atlantic is the story of greed in Nigeria. How many Nigerians can afford over 1500 dollars per square meters?Since eko Atlantic was launched, Nigerians developers have built more than 50 gated estates in lekki down to Epe yet eko Atlantic is still empty. If they dont reduce the price drastically Nigeria and the world would have moved on leaving eko Atlantic a desolation of what could have been. This is why the western world always wins against Africans mindset, they cut their loses and move on, even to greater things, not holding on forever whatever.By now they could have built more cities in Abuja and other parts of lagos instead of waiting for that high flyers that are never coming...😅Eko Atlantic is like the story of a beautiful woman that rejected all marriage proposals when she was younger and the world moved on leaving her in her delusion of grandeur. 😅
