Seed oils are actually great.

For oiling squeaky door hinges, bicycle chains and other mechanical parts. Thats what seed oils were originally made and should exclusively be used for.

Butter > ghee > tallow

We use them for different things. Butter has a lower smoke point than ghee so we use ghee when we want to cook at a higher temperature. We use tallow when we are smoking meat to make it more tender. And we use raw butter when we aren’t going to heat up the butter. Hopefully people can start using critically thinking skills.

Dr. Saladino I just want to say thank you. I was having severe back problems as a 20 year old and for 8 months no doctor here was able to help me, and they were guessing the cause of these problems and putting me on many medications. Eventually I quit seeing them and taking medications. I started seeing your videos and listening to your advice since it made the most sense and just like magic the pain decreased until it’s minimal now. People really under rate nutrition where it’s on of the biggest factors that influence our health. Please keep teaching people about nutrition and health.. we do appreciate you much!

I have been diagnosed with high Cholesterol. Needless to say I'm shocked. I'm 59. My weight is spot on. I don't eat fast foods. Don't drink soda. I over indulge in chocolate. A big thank you for your advice❤. Especially icw the oils we consume. Luckily i switched to butter, olive oil, coconut oil a few years back. Buying Ghee to cook with is my next step. Thanks to you. Will check if we have Tallow in my country.

In England Tallow is known as beef dripping, we also like to use lard which is probably also the best for pastry.

What I realized a couple weeks ago is that you dont even need any cooking oils. I just put my steaks in a dry pan, high heat, sear both sides and its perfectly medium rare with good browning. There is no need for oils. I only finish it with butter a minute before I take it off the heat and let it rest in it to absorb some of the juices mixed with the butter. But for the cooking process you dont need any fat other than the fat from the steaks.

Recently gifted an air fryer..don’t really need any oil for it..I’ll add good olive oil..after the veggie or protein is cooked for a delicious flavor..plenty of choices with a stainless steel basket..great for summer time cooking..less heat in the apartment..or reheating..I’m hooked..

The tallow (dripping) from the roasting pan is also great on toast with plenty of salt and pepper put about half a packet in with your meat to flavour it.

You can heat up olive oil just below it's boiling point to slowly cook tomatoes or garlic in.
