To all the younger girls in the comments! Here are signs your period is coming soon (within 2-3 years of showing signs of puberty):
•Discharge
•Pubic hair
•Other body hair
•Acne
•Developing breasts
Pay attention to the discharge and pubic hair ones though, those are very clear signs you’ll probably get your period within the next 6 months to a year! Also, just to clarify, you may seem anxious to get your period now and feel grown up, but month after month you get used to it (it’s not always regular when you first get it, though, for some girls), and it won’t always be a big deal. But try to enjoy not having it, because cramps and stuff are really painful! Trust me, I was excited too. I’ve had mine for five years and I understand. If anyone has period questions, let me know. I was 10 and a half when I got my first.
