So what are the signs of a girl's first menstrual period what we
call as menarci before menarci there are certain changes which are taking place in a girl's body she suddenly growing up there is a lot of hair growth on her arms and legs, there is new part of growth in the armpit and pubic area, she starts developing breast this changes are happening quiet ahead of menarci but when the girls starts complaining of vaginal discharge which is copious creamy yellowish in color and maybe having some peculiar order then it is assumed that the period or the menstruation is around the corner so there's a few sings which will tell a girl when she is start menstruating for the first time.

Is this normal? I’m 11 and on July 7 2021 I had no armpit hair or pubic hair and on July 8 2021 I woke up and I had a forest of pubic hair (1 inch long) a lot of armpit hair (like 1 cm long) my breasts grew 2 inches, and later that day at night I got my period. Period started staining

if you see your daughter getting early signs of puberty like hair on body, and nipple buds . Then talk to her about menarche in very very casual way so child has an idea if child faces it. Lot of information causes too much curiosity and unnecessary thoughts in brain which can trigger menarche.

And remember to give your girl child non sexualised upbringing, see consciously or unconsciously you are not exposing your child to media content which sexualises children or adults, at home family members are seen as humans and not via male or female genders, clothes she wears are not too much fashionable, no make up for kids. More focus on sports, healthy diet and games. No focus on fashion, reels, drama in families. Very less animal products like milk based products and non vegetarian products.

If she participates in songs, dances etc see that her body and lyrics of song are not having sexualised undertones.

Rest genetics can also trigger it earlier, control what you can rest leave it to nature. Periods are natural at the end of day. We can only delay it best till 15 or minimum till 11. But if it happens by 8 then also it is just natural. Though it is very difficult for 8, 9, 10 year old children to handle it and if nature spares them for few more years, they can have less pain or less pad handling years. Rest it will happen any which way. And if it happens then just take it casually and inform her in age appropriate way.

( im 12 ) My parents are literally telling me its because of me drinking too much soda but i dont even drink that much and i literally have all of the first period symptoms I've been telling them I've been having lots of cramps mostly while night time but they don't even care. What do i do lol😀

I have had discharge for almost 2.5 years and they have started to turn brown now! My breasts started growing about 2 years ago and I have had pubic hair for 2-3 years so I think I will get my period in 2 weeks! 🙄
