I got the ‘new’ one back when I had the very first chromecast because it was losing ability to sign in. The new circular one would heat up and crash when you left it on. the litteral only benefit was that it was signing in. Planned obsolescence. fuck that mess.

I like the Chromecast hanging behind the back better/cleaner and i also would have nowhere to put it my tv hangs on the wall nearly 2meters up 😅

I have a PC so I don't need any of these things, My internet provider suplyed a streaming box that I have never used because I can't add any add blocker to it,

That's a full out Android TV box. Nothing like a Chromecast. Chromecast has always been pretty worthless. At least this can run Plex and Kodi 😂
