Plane Door Opens Midair on Asiana Airlines Flight

(warning: distressing) A man traveling on an Asiana Airlines flight opened the plane's cabin door minutes before it came in for its planned landing.

Cellphone footage taken from inside the plane shows the door hanging wide open as the aircraft was still approx 700 ft in the air. Luckily, no one was injured or killed in the event, but several passengers did receive medical attention after the fact.

An investigation into the incident has been opened and the suspect has been arrested. He could face up to 10 years in prison under the Aviation Security Act, per CNN.
