Lost Series Finale Ending Explained (Spoiler!!!)

Just a quick video I decided to throw up the morning after the season 6 (six) finale that ended the whole series. Just giving my thoughts on the events at the end of the episode and what I believe will answer a few questions that maybe circling around. Nothing to crazy in depth just what I feel is the best explanation I can give as to what happened at the very end of the episode.

@TwilightLuver216 i think when they showed the plane during the credits it was just a reflection on how much things have changed since the first episode. in the first episode there was so much activity and chaos around the wreckage compared to how at the end of the series everyone had moved away from the wreckage and almost forgot that they were in a plane crash.

@TheKeat67 yea i think they explained that a few episodes back... he came and helped hurley do something and said it was just something he needed to do. i think that was the unfinished business he needed to take care of and now he has moved on. maybe...

@Plimpmasterp well the polar bear was just a left over animal from a group that was conducting experiments on the island. the island has healing properties so the bear could live in the tropical climate no problem.

This is pretty much how I've thought of it! It's a shame that so many people think that they were dead the whole show, or died during the plane crash. They just didn't listen to Christian Shephard's final speech. "Some before you, some long after you" (referring to when people died). Also, the video is 3:16. All the more reason to love. :D

@lYakuzal yea, i think they could have explained that better, but they might have wanted to leave it up to discussion! like we are doing right now! it was a good move by the writers to write an ending that would be misinterpreted so as to create an on going discussion amongst lost fans for weeks after the finale!

@guitarherownz uh oh! this one is impossible to answer because everyone who didnt die on the show could have died at anytime... ever! because there is no time in the flash sideways they could meet up even though jack died at the end of the series, but kate was still alive as she left the island... she could have lived to be an old lady! we dont know!

Yes I think you're right. When I finished watching it I thought that they had all died on the crash only for someone to put me right. Ben wasnt ready to leave purgatory cos he still had to get the French lady and her daughter to remember the island and for them to forgive him before he could leave. All the people in the church wanted to go to heaven together and wanted to wait for Jack as he was the saviour of the island and for most of them.

@Welcome2MyMind it is very hard not to contradict yourself when you are talking about a show that has two story lines; one where time moves forward as we know it (with the occasional time travel, ) and the other where there is no time and everyone is already dead. so in one time line some people are alive, some people are dead and some people die as we are watching. in the other timeline, everyone is dead. hoped this helped a little.

@63IRISH63 yea, i wasnt sure about whether ben was still alive until i realized that there is no time in the flash sideways... so there for ben is dead because everyone is dead... no matter who you are or when you lived.... i think...
