Imagine knowing long in advance that a hurricane is coming. Yet not evacuating

Still don’t understand why big boat owners don’t daisy chain 40-50 together and have tug just take them far out in the gulf until hurricane has passed.

Wow. This is literally the first I've heard anything about a death toll. Figured there must be some but never looked it up

103 has to be a massive underestimate, if not a flat out lie.

16 Florida GOP Representatives voted AGAINST funding FEMA.
... Now they're out lobbying for compassion.

Just think about the possibility of bodies washed out to sea and the gators coming out of swamps down there to scavenge bodies.

That's so sad. And it's only the confirmed deaths. Hopefully not many of the people that are unaccounted for will be confirmed dead, or never found. God, have mercy.

Why are so many homes in Florida within flood plains and super close to the coast like it's their backyard? I have never seen anything idiotic than that! Nature has enormous power and it will reclaim whatever belongs to it ..

All these people complaining that they're trapped, you were told to evacuate...maybe listen next time

103 isn't "staggering". Look at the power that Mother Nature displays every year. It could have been way worse than that.

My auntie said her entire collection of China and Meissen collectibles valued at over 60, 000 dollars was swept into the sea. I told her at least you're alive!

Also in a related story the death toll from fentanyl is in the hundreds of thousands in the past month due to the shitty boarder policy of United States president

DeSantis didn’t order evacuations on time. He was focused on finding migrants in Texas to ship to Martha’s Vineyard.

Alot of PEOPLE didn't EVACUATE cause it was just going to be a Cat 2 or 3. But it was a 4 almost a Cat 5 by 32 points off. SHOULD have called it a 4 and 5.
