i know someone who lives in that area of florida and he said that atleast 10, 000 are dead but the news doesn’t say it because they don’t want people to panic. very sad, i hope they rest peacefully.

This was awful. 💔 this hurricane was a monster. Drowning is one of the worst ways to go. Praying for the families 😢

It way more than that. Probably 1000+ people been swept out to sea, buried, etc. You can only clean so much off the surface, they'll just rebuild over it.

A group of 6 or 7 pick up trucks and a van will be heading to VineSWFL church Saturday morning from Deerfield beach with loaded trucks of donations and food to feed the people of Ft Myers. And volunteers. The news should cover it to inspire more donations and help. Thank you.

Just leave it. Never go back. Officials and insurance pay your citizens their homes. Move to Montana or Wyoming. No hurricanes!! Arent you weary of this mess year after year after year?!? Rebuild? They were told to evacuate. Many people refused to leave, ignoring or laughing at the warnings. I feel sorry for their family members left behind to live with the decisions that their deceased family member made.

and patients, I'm not seeing anyone dispute this death toll.

There is really no such thing as "hurricane season". When it happens, it happens. With that said, the so-called hurricane season is supposed to end on November 30th. We have a long ways to go with a great chance for this to happen again. The next time, please get out. Its hard to see the images of the aftermaths, but the reports of death is the most devastating.
