100 DEATHS IS STILL LESS THAN TWO WEEKENDS IN CHICAGO....

Given the population many heeded the warnings and evacuated inland or the death toll as tragic as it is would have been much higher with a storm this large that affected both the east and west coast of Florida.

My heart goes out to any of the victims of this hurricane who were not DeSantis/Trump supporters.

When you choose to live in a State that is listed as being #1 for getting hit by the most hurricanes, you should be prepared for the consequences.

Lots of these deaths would of been avoided.if you had 3 foot high raised foundations to accommodate rising waters. Housing made out of concrete not trailers n hurricane n flood prone areas. No barricades around house or property... Why did you all not implement any of these which have been proven to stop or prevent hurricanes n rising waters!!! Instead I see trailers on flat ground with no adjustment to high winds or water. Beach front properties have no barriers to stop waves from storms .

Oh ya. Thank god I’m not on one of the islands, but I’m in the middle of this. Emergency workers, line workers, services from other areas, a big thank you. I heard some of these people were sleeping in there cars or trucks because there were no rooms. Some didn’t have access to food and water. Many citizens stepped up to offer food and shelter. Some areas had no food or shelter. Thank you to all these selfless people that sacrificed to get us together. God. Bless you all. 💞☮️🙏🏻

All things considered it could have been much worse for a CAT 5. God is good.

I remember hurricane Ivan in 2004. Pensacola was wrecked for months. I know we have goldfish memories and no respect for the sheer power of Mother Nature. But even in the best circumstances. It’s going to take awhile.

Only a hundred? So few! It’s truly amazing that out of millions, mother nature’s wrath was only able to claim such a small number of human lives. Relatively speaking of course.
