we already do twice the productivity with a third less human workers. automation has allowed for this glorious growth in china (who previously used sweat shop labor) and america. people think this economic prosperity we live in reflects the entire country. no. the rich will always do well because they own everything. when automation really ramps up, the poor will either die in the streets or eat the rich

Lee makes a lot of sense and I think his self driving car predictions are very realistic. People who think there will be cars driving themselves (real driving, like a human, even a bad human driver) within 10 years are unrealistic. For truly self driving cars, cities will have to change, and that takes decades.

US has way more patents in AI and IoT compared to China. US is number 1 in these patents in these areas. China is not even close.

so fare china's ai reporter had to be shut down because it did not want to lie for the chines government . it is vary interesting what will happen in the future . will ai be a force for good or a terminator scenario . if ai aren't taught basic morals and decency will evil prevail .
