Settled status application problem: no evidence of EU citizen living here

Are you and EU citizen living in the UK for 5+ years? You applied for Settled Status but the automated checks could not see you as present in the UK? Verena (from Germany) had the same problem.
Our lawyer says that this is not uncommon. What you should do is select on the online application form that you want to upload evidence of you being here for 5 years which allows you to submit scanned evidence of your residence to the Home Office to view.

What happens if the CW just doesn't find the evidence satisfactory(they removed the option of administrative review)?
What happens if there is an old person that cannot merge PDFs?
The high court judgement was still not addressed, a 2 year extension did nothing to make this entire thing lawful or respectful of the withdrawal agreement.
How can immigrants become legal when the scheme itself is unlawful?

Because there is no such thing as one universal data recorded under a single file for each individual. Homeoffice can’t just access the hmrc or dwp records without applying to the relevant authorities first . Which is why it’s on you to provide evidence of these records.

Britain is about OK for living, but why go through all these troubles when you could live on EU instead?

I have a question: I migrated to UK in December 2020. My evidence of residence are: P45 (dated December), Flight Ticket (Dated December), Bank Account spends in Uk (Dated December), other evidences that are not on the list as "Declaration from company that I had to travel during Tier 4 lockdown", and invoice from landlord to rent a bedroom in January 2021. I also have the first payslip of January 2021 showing my emergency NI. Have I followed the rules to have the pre-settled status?

Tax return, or declaring income to the hmrc was anuf proof when I applied on line for settled status, that was befor the official expiry dates for eu citizen to apply, I live in a motorhome since 24 years and I did not needed to show any prove of council tax, bills or any rent contract regarding adress of residence . I do had to visit one of the district immigration office in Bristol to see an official in person and provide them with a foto made by this official on the same day. It was easy and straight forward. After 8 weeks I received the notification that my status was accepted.

Hello, there is a question I would like to ask. I am a European citizen, but now that the UK is out of the EU, I know whether there is a treaty to return to the UK before the end of December 2020, which can be recalculated to apply for permanent residence for five years, and then apply for naturalization in the sixth year. But my question is that I worked in the UK from 2010 to 2013, but I left later Yes, and then if I return to the UK by the end of this year, will the previous three years be counted in? Thank you very much for your reply. I will wait for your answer. Thank you

I have visited uk in August 2020.
I have received pre-settled status in November 2020. Due to Covid issue i could not move permanently to UK before Brexit day. Am i still eligible to move UK as a pre-settled holder?

Is it required that you register at your home address at your local city council in
the UK to qualify as being a resident of the UK if you are a EU-citizen and want
to qualify for pre-settled status in the UK? I hope not because I plan to rent only
a room in a shared house and I probably will move houses i.e. rooms quite
frequently too.

No compensation from the UK government for the stress of all of this when issues like this arise. Did they ever do studies on stress levels and how things like this can affect them???? No due diligence to find out if there was a risk to these hard working British taxpayer's mental health....no care about the health and safety of the citizens living in the UK.

Hi there, I'd kindly like to get your expertise to shed a light on this important issue please:
How do I prove that my ex wife (EEU citizen) was exercising her treaty rights on the time of our divorce, once we not communicating since we split?
Is there any way to the home office get it without I have to ask her please?
My application has been refused due to the lack of her activities evidence.
I'm really saddened and frustrated.
Thanks

It should not happen but if she had kept a copy of her yearly submitted tax return then it would be very straightforward . I mean who does not keep a copy of their yearly tax return ? Either a printed copy or an electronic file, preferably both. Duh.
