I am a EU citizen, I moved to the UK in 2019, I lived here for 8 months, then I moved to kwait because I got a new job, I have lived there for 3 years, now I am planning to come back to the UK, my presettled expires in 6 months, can I enter the uk with pre-settled status ? And how will my presettled get converted into settled status?

Hi there, I am a EU citizen. I lived in the UK between 2014 and 2019 and I have settled status. I have been outside of the UK since october 2019, so in august this year will be 5 year that I am outside of the UK, which means I will loose my settled status. My question is, to not lose it, how many days or months do I need to be in the UK if I come back to not lose the settled status? I hope that makes sense, I have been looking for the answer to this question everywhere but I can't find it. Thank you!

Hello . My bro in law has his EU pre settled expiring end of October 2024 . He applied for a settled status but was refused as he was out of country . His family are on dependant visa for 5 years . They are so far one year in the country and 4 years to go . Can the family continue to stay as the mother is working and 2 kids are under 18 going to school .?

I applied for my EU settled status in March, completed all the required steps, and was asked to send my passport. I sent it in, and two weeks later, I received it back without any update. I haven't heard from the Home Office since then. Is this normal? I'm confused because the website still shows my status as pre-settled.

May I ask, do I legally have to stay in the UK for min 6months a year to apply for settle status? Is it perhaps enough to only pay taxes? Or do I need to physically be in UK land for that duration? Also what about after getting settled status? Is that still a requirement? Many thanks

Hi... I'm Portuguese been in the UK since 1994 I was 5 years old when we came . I've had my applications refused 2 times now and I'm now out of work 3 years 2 months have kids here with my girlfriend of 16 years, she's British . How can I get this fixed asap !
