Once when I was younger and my mother said "Dinner is ready" after nicely beating me up, I was still crying and said "I don't want to eat" in a kind of choking and angry tone. Leh she beat me up even more for saying no to dinner. "How dare you not eat? I cooked this food. Am I your servant?" There's no way you can show your disappointment to your Asian parents. They will always make it your fault at the end. Lol
