Last year I thought i might be in menopause. I wasn't. Still in peri, but per my levels.. my fertility window was closed per my ob/gyn. My amh was 0.06, fsh was 63.3, and I still was not ovulating. I figured I was done and just enjoyed life. I decided to become the best, healthiest version of me I could be while in peri and had the goal of entering my menopausal years healthier than in my 20's! And I was doing it. Eating great, exercising with a goal to get back into competitive lifting like I did precovid. Trying to keep life's stressors limited. But then I started gaining weight despite my best efforts. also lost my period for 3 months. I heard that with menopause weight loss becomes much harder. I had extreme fatigue. My energy was at an all time low. This was it. I was sure I was now in menopause. My mother went into menopause at 46. I was 45. Maybe I would be the same. So I went to my MD to get the definitive diagnosis. I went in there to get the diagnosis of menopause. I walked out with the diagnosis of pregnancy- at the age of 45, with LOW AMH!

And yes, low amh has been a huge downer for me. The fertility doctor convinced us that the only way to have children was for us to spend 35, 000 for just one ivf procedure. We've already spent thousands with no luck so thats not possible for us

My AMH is 21 Im 45 my first and last baby was at 40 she would of been 5. My miracle healthy baby died from a doctors mistake. Never got pregnant again 4 miscarriages and a miracle went wrong. Now to find out my Amh is getting low. I hope I still have hope🙏

Having hope and encouragement can really help. I had one cycle where I was feeling upbeat and some things were going on that made me happy and I ended up having 5 follicles growing without fertility drugs, and the Dr. asked me if I was on clomid. Of course one became dominant but for my age that was considered very good.
