Thank you for setting the record straight on low AMH! I got pregnant naturally at age 45 with AMH <0.1. It only takes one egg! It saddens me to see how many women are crushed by discovering their AMH is low.

Thanks for the informative video! I'm 31 and came back with an AMH of about 0.2 which is super super low, my fertility doctor recommended we go straight to IVF. It's definitely super disappointing to be relatively young and feel like I'm going to be in menopause in like the next 3 years

My question is if an AMH level of 0.042 ng/mL is found alongside no corresponding issues such as autoimmune diseases, radiation/chemotherapy, no smoking, and no history of ovarian surgery, what are other explanations for such a low AMH level? And how would that affect fertility? Thanks!!

Incase someone has lost hope. I had a big dermoid cyst on my right ovary which was removed on May 25th 2024 through an open surgery. I had AMH of 0.46 and was so worried about my fertility. Just exactly 6 weeks after surgery we had our first sex with my fiance who's living in another town, just that once and I conceived. Don't lose hope, my first pregnancy at 34

Thanks for all the info! I had my amh checked 1 month ago and it was 1.11. Now two weeks later it is .75. My thyroid tsh is high of 5.04 and i just started levothyroxine 25 mg. I have a 16 month old and am still breastfeeding. My mom went into perimenopause early at 32 and im 33 almost 34. It took 6 months for my first and only and now it has been about 9 months. They are doing the dye to check my fallopian tubes when i start my next period and 21 day labs next week. What should i push for or ask for next? Im nervous we arent going to get our second baby or the health of one as well. I work full time from home and take care of my mom with parkinsons full time as well, shes wheelchair bound, so a little stressed and busy to say the least that isnt helping. Thank you!

Check AMH on Day 3 for most accurate value. Then you can check over time on Day 3 and see how it's changing.. Much more reliable than any random day of the cycle.

Doctor l am 36 diagnosed with fabroids in both overies possibly endometriosis..today l had my AMH which is 0.63 and FSH 11.8 but normal LH.l had these tests on 2nd day of my cycle.What are my chances of getting pregnant?

I have to share my experience with AMH. I am 39yo, AMH in February was 1.54, May 0.55, today (June) 1.65! All same year, all same lab. Hopefully this will be a fertile cycle
