The Best Oven Baked Chicken and Rice
Inspired By: Cafe Delites

Ingredients:
•7 Chicken bone-in Thighs
•Olive oil
•Knorr's chicken flavoring
•Lawry's seasoned pepper
•Parley flakes
•Oregano
•Onion Powder
•Garlic Powder
•Thyme
•Black pepper

Mushroom Rice Recipe

Ingredients:
•1 small onion, finely chopped
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•Olive oil
•Knorrs chicken seasoning
•black pepper
•paprika
•1 1/2 cups hot chicken broth
•1 1/2 cups water
•2 tablespoons butter
•2 cups white rice

Buttery Mushroom:
•2 tablespoons butter
•2 cloves garlic, minced
•Your favorite mushrooms
•Chopped chives
•Salt
•Black pepper

So Ray,

Tried your Best Baked Chicken & Rice and here’s what happened; my wife is the cook in the family. Other than scrambled eggs or grilling steaks, she doesn’t see me as a cook. So while she was away from the house, I went and got all the ingredients and went to work, while watching this video and following the steps. I made a few blunders but corrected as I went. Then my wife gets home, sees what I made sitting on the stove and takes a bite, then two, then three. She says “Which store did you get the Chicken & Rice ? I said that I made it.
She argued with me that I made it! I said “Yes I did”. She said No Way! We went back and forth. Finally, she only believed me after checking the garbage where I threw out the packaging. Heaven help me if I left a mess!

This really was the BEST CHICKEN EVER. I found you on youtube and shopped the groceries, my husband and 12 yo daughter, made it together in the kitchen. They love to cook. My 15 yo autistic daughter who is VERY PICKY about food and HATES chicken said, "Mom, this is the only chicken I will ever eat!" My 12 yo son who is a little more adventurous but not by much said, "I never thought I would like mushrooms. I loved it all." He was shoveling it in. Dinner is always a battle for us but it wasn't tonight. Ray Mack, thank you from the bottom of my heart. We look forward to trying more of your recipes and dishes!
