Well it wasn’t a pretty reentry but they’ve made some absurdly rapid progress with this thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next launch and reentry goes off without an hitch.

Imagine how you are peacefully sitting in the boat, enjoying quiet and piece and suddenly huge loud flaming rocket appears and softly lands into the sea. Epic!

Why does video from boat end before splash down?

Anyone stood next to that would’ve had their insides turned to pâté from those shockwaves.

I'm surprised they didn't have a better autonomous camera platform out there to capture the soft landing. that looked like a go pro strapped to a float.

They'll land that puppy on Terra Firma next trip. I don't think the robot recovery ships are big enough, are they?

Are they getting the booster back or it just stay at the bottom of the ocean ?

The “buoy”, I assume, was placed at that particular spot by Space X to document the boosters return. Can we the assume it landed exactly where they planned it to set down? Or will the conspiracy crowd assume SpaceX placed 10, 000 buoys with cameras and got lucky across the hundreds of square miles it would have fallen to if not exquisitely controlled?

Great video from space... The best part of the footage is of the starship coming out of the cloud and apparently going to land in the water. We don't know, however, because the person directing decided to switch camera angles about a second before the landing. Ouch. Hopefully that person is not responsible for any future videos from space...

Too bad they didn't share the buoy side view all the way till it hit the water. Guess they don't want people to see how fast it was when hitting the water.

Wow, wow!! Elon Musk is a genius, and I trust that everything he undertakes will be increasingly successful, because he is destined to make us a Star Trek civilization, and nothing will stop that process, other than his determination. I love that.😍👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️💫🌹💥🚀
