I’ve been a pro user since the 11. Every year I upgrade to the pro. This year I went with the 16 plus in teal and I absolutely love it. It took my a few mins to get use to 60hz but the screen is so good you don’t notice like you think we do

I just upgraded from the 14 Pro Max to the 16 Plus (in the same ultramarine, which is absolutely stunning). Frankly, this has been my favorite upgrade since the 13 mini. Despite the 14 Pro Max being the "best" iPhone I've ever owned in terms of camera, battery, and power, it has seriously been my least favorite iPhone. I think for me, it was primarily the weight of it and the sharp, stainless steel edges that made it uncomfortable to hold without a case and a little too cumbersome with a case. I just could never seem to get happy with the 14 Pro Max, and I've spent the last year and a half ready to upgrade it to something else. But I'm glad I waited for the 16 Plus, because this feels like exactly the upgrade I've been wanting.

Watching this I'm really glad I've ordered the Pro. And we didn't even hear about the 5x zoom in this video. Honestly for the extra £200, 120hz, USB 3, 5x zoom, bigger battery, always on display, slightly bigger screen, potentially better mics is well worth it. I'm coming from an 11, so will keep my phone around 5 years so may as well have the additions for all that time. I like the colour of the non pro, but honstly it ends up in a case and the colour is never to be seen after you take it out of the box anyway.

I ordered the iPhone 16 plus in black with 256gb. I didn’t need pro features when the plus can pretty much do the same as the pro model.

I have an iPhone 11. For budget reasons, I am hesitating between an iPhone 15 Pro and an iPhone 16 (not Pro), which are about the same price range now. Which one would you recommend. I am an average user: occasional photos and games, but mainly texting, phone calls, maps, listening to music... for watching movies, browsing the web and writing emails and articles, I use my Mac.

iPhone 16 = 60hz
iPhone 16 Plus = adaptive refresh rate up to 90hz
iPhone 16 Pro = adaptive refresh rate up to 120hz
iPhone 16 Pro Max = adaptive refresh rate up to 120hz or 144hz

I believe / wish that Apple would do it this way. I know there is an option to turn off the pro-motion. Thanks for your video.

Colors don't matter to me because, like most people, I slap on a case (and not a clear case).

While it's a matter of personal taste, I actually prefer last year's colors. At any rate, I chose black for my iPhone 15 because you can't go wrong with a classic timeless color.

Tbh I was thinking about buying this phone but I already have 14 pro max so I don’t see no point of upgrading it. I bought the AW ultra 2 which was my best purchase ever!

sticking with my 14 pro, but really better without the better camera and pro motion? the screen especially, if the 16 had upped that I would have likely gone for it without considering the cost of a pro version

How is that 60Hz better than the 120hz? That is the absolute dealbreaker for me and the only reason why I wouldnt go for the base version...
