A couple of my friends got the 16 Pro and have no regrets. They were upgrading from the iPhone XR and safe to say the new one is 10 times better, in terms of battery, screen, cameras, etc. They didn't care about the future promise of Apple Intelligence, and I think most people are in the same boat; they just want a new phone. I for the other hand will be sticking with my 13 Pro Max for another year. Let's see what Apple has in store next year.

The thing about it is it’s not now. When it release ( likely in 6 months) the iPhone will be half way to iPhone 17.
Everyone will lose 6 months worth of new iPhone freshness especially when the iPhone 17 comes out.
Also, a side note rant…I’m completely sick of rainbows.Everything has to have a rainbow like RGB lights for PC…
Google services…. So much rainbow…I think I must be living in the Color Castle in Rainbowland with Rainbow Brite eating rainbow cake wearing my Mork and Mindy rainbow suspenders.😂

Nail on the head. All the reasons I am skipping the 16 series this year. Playing with the minimal functionality in 18.1 beta and so far on a 15PM and it hasn’t wowed me at all. Looks like I am waiting on 2025 and the 17.

My 13 Pro Max 3 years later still strong, all day battery life brilliant camera's still. I was gonna upgrade to the 16 Pro max but don't think it's worth it, still love my 13!!
