At 33, I’ve learned that, if I had continue to avoid some form of forgiveness, I wouldn’t be able to prosper to this woman I am today. I never would had thought my mental clarity is clearer without that hold I was carrying on stemming from childhood abuse, even leading to my marriage. I’m now on team forgiveness .

I used to be blinded by the hurt and anger my mother's family caused me during my childhood up until I was 18 years old. Those feelings did give me a false sense of power, but it hindered me. I carried that hurt and pain into my marriage and it was a very heavy burden. At 33 years old, I begged God to help me forgive them and now at 40+ I am so at peace. That saying is true, "we have to learn to accept the apology that we will never get". Once we do this, it will be easier to forgive and move on with life.

Very true. I went through this with my child Dad & our son looks like his Dad & I would easily get irritated. It took years but my son Dad & myself are the greatest co'parents but it took over 5 yrs to get there. It feels good in my inner self spirit to know that I forgave him for growth & to show our son we can be great but not together ❤ Let the pain go & look forward

I learned this a long time ago!!! No one and I mean NO ONE is able to move forward without FORGIVENESS! I want to forget, forgive, and move on. I never want to see my daughter’s father again but I legally have to. I tried to make it so that he picks her up from after school on Friday and drop her off Monday morning so we avoid each other and all I have to text if she is sick if she can’t visit. He said no. We have done hurtful things to each other and I just want it to be over.

I do forgive but might avoid talking to the person to have my peace of mind....👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. The more I forgive n remain positive, the more I get the things I really want at that moment.
