Forgiveness is accepting a choice not accepting a behavior. Example you have to accept a person has a right to make decisions whether you agree with it or not. That doesn't mean you have to tolerate their behavior.

Example is a person cheat on you in a marriage. Now you can't control a person choice so they can do what they want. You have accepted their choice but that doesn't mean you have to stay in the marriage. You have a right to divorce the person and get out of the marriage.

I believe that when you turn over the anger & hurt over to the higher power. Expel whatever demonic entity that caused your suffering to exit your surroundings forever. Move forward, thank God for your lessons in wisdom, move forward in life & never look back. God & time heals all anger & hurt. Take it to the Lord & leave it there, is what I learned as a child.
