Actually, he's kind of backhanding what was known a the "Black Robe Regiment" of preachers, (many 'reformed') who laid the societal/political foundation of the American Revolution by their sermons on Freedom from the Crown of England. As usual, MacArthur is waxing pious. Point of fact, as a Calvinist, he must affirm whatever he is criticizing is nothing but a manifestation of God's eternal decree anyway... as is his criticism.
