The Mandela Effect has changed my life, especially when I learned of “the lion shall lay down with the lamb” was no longer in any Biblical scripture. That was my very favorite verse when I was little! I went to Christian schools, Sunday school and church almost every Sunday and even remember drawing pictures and coloring the lion and lamb! It deeply disturbs me.

The "lion and the lamb" change is the most profound to me. My father quoted this scripture when he wrote an inscription on the inside cover of the Bible he gifted me. The written passage remains, but now the verse quoted is different. Totally trippy.

You didn’t mention the biggest one of all about the dove. Most people remember the dove bringing back an olive branch not a leaf. 😀

The one about Noah hasn't changed for me. It rained 40 days and nights but it took about a year for the water to recede enough for Noah and his family to exit the ark. I also remember the raven being sent first, then the dove who came back, the one who found an olive branch and lastly the one who didn't return because it presumably made its nest somewhere else as there was dry land.

Delilah surely was the one that cut Samson's hair. This is one of my favorite story and knew this since Sunday school days including Jonah and the whale, not big fish.

Mandela Bible changes initiated a spiritual awakening for me. And I don’t use the word initiated lightly. I’ve burned through a lot of inner residue, and faced a lot of unlearning and integrating hard truths about reality, about myself. Interesting times. Stay strong.

I'm 54yo, and my entire life I have always known Jesus to be a carpenter.

I studied through a private catholic school from preschool through eighth grade.
We reenacted the crucifixion every spring, even church did a skit too with the priest acting Jesus's lines.

The Roman soldier 100% had his ear cut off. I remember how vividly Jesus's healed the soldier's ear, the one that is still taking him away to kill him.

There was even a painting of this scene too.

All these changes are blowing my mind.

I did some lite research of my own online about "the lion lies with the lamb" I searched the wayback machine and many archives going back over 20 years, to 1998 and EVERY SINGLE Mention and EVERY SINGLE piece of artwork was "the lion and the lamb", no mention of a wolf. From scripture reference, art work, Bible studies, Bible groups, etcetera. Very interesting.

The third dove didn't come back because it found dry land that it could live on, which was a signal that there was dry land.

I went to vacation Bible School for most of my childhood summers and I remember the lion shall lie down with the lamb. There was a whole story about it. And Delilah cut Sampson’s hair. And Jesus was born a carpenter, that’s what his earthly father was. But the Bible never gets into his life from the visiting of the temple and schooling the priests and when he begins to preach.

I do remember Noah sending out several different birds. When the birds didn’t return that meant they found a place to land. They found a new home. I think we remember the dove bc that is the one that came back with an olive branch.

I am 70 years old, with a memory as sharp as any 20 year old. I was schooled in a Convent in the 60's, and believe me, we learned Bible passages. The Lion Shall Lie With The Lamb, ' was often included in Priest's sermons. There was a video on YouTube, hope it's still here, of a woman calling a Priest live, and asking him what Isiah 11:6 said about the lamb. He said 'the lion shall lay with the lamb.' She asked him to check his Bible while they were speaking. It now mentioned the wolf and lamb theory. The priest was bewildered, and had to explanation. Other changes have been made as well. My best friend tried to convince me that Nelson Mandela (which is where the term began) passed away in prison. I argued the truth, that he was released and became the leader of his beloved Africa. She will not relent. The Mandela Effect is real, regardless of what the doubters believe.

The horsemen one is a good one! As some potential residue there was a classic Red Dwarf episode in the early 90s called 'Gunmen of the Apocalypse'. In it our intrepid heroes fight the 4 horsemen, one whom has flies buzzing around their head all the time (Pestilence). They're even credited in the cast as pestilence.

I'm not a Bible reading person but I swear I remember that Indiana Jones said "that looks like the cup of a carpenter" in the last crusade movie.

I was raised southern baptist and was a Christian for many many years in my early 20's. I spent A LOT of my days reading and studying the bible. I have since become an atheist but this video has blown my mind! I agree with every single thing you said. I know for a fact from reading the Bible myself that Delilah cut his hair, it said lion/lamb, Jesus was a CARPENTER, it was a soldier whose ear was cut off, it was a DOVE, and I've never read his name being JEALOUS (wtf)! I'm sure I missed one or two but I'm too tired to go back and check! This is truly crazy.

Every single time I hear these examples, I'm blown away completely at how it's not bigger of a thing. That Samson and Delilah one hit hard because as I heard the names I said to myself "His power was his long hair she cut his hair in bed to take his strength away." then you said all you said now I'm looking at my phone like 🙃 I grew up in a Christian family so naturally I heard all these stories a hundred times growing up I don't go to church anymore but I still remember most details about them.
