I just remembered as a teen in the Catholic church hearing the priest say this before reading, " The Gospel According to St" . then the author eg. John and i just checked a Catholic bible, same wording, so this change is 100% about catholicism !!!

My KJV has the same changes as yours...Ecclesiastes now has the preacher added. The gospels titles preceded by St etc God has a capital but not most high...on the last page where the words THE END are....this is a change thats been there a while now..I just noticed a large full stop has appeared after the words THE END. This is in my dads old KJV.

In my KJV Some pages up at top of each page say “psalms” and then the next page it says “psalm”

This is an important video. In one of my KJV Bibles, in the NT Noah is mostly spelled Noah as opposed to Noe. Also, Isaiah and Elijah are properly spelled in most places. I actually brought it to the recent Mandela convention and showed it to some non believers who viewed the different KJV Bibles with quite the interest.

1:58 side note, notice the handle of the KJV swords looks reminencent to the pagan symbol for healing, often associated with the Greek god of healing, its also what you see in hospitals today which is a different topic for a different time. But yeah i find that very interesting, you can clealry see the look of two snakes, the handle looks like two snakes and snake heads

I read that the Catholic word "Rosary", meaning "chain of roses" comes from the Latin word "Wreath", isn't "Wreath or Wreathen" in the KJV now?

I have a KJV bible that has a top header in Revelation 2:

“Messages to Four Churches”

What happened to the other 3 churches?! 😱🧐🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

It all is up to the editors and publishing company. If you go to the original 1611 KJV copies, music is spelled musick, labor is labour, color is colour. A lot of words spelled the way the england still spells these words to day. Newer copies update the spellings. Nothing has changed.

Haven't had a chance to check all my KJV's yet (about x8) however, first two I checked, one has no "St." in the Gospel headings and has the k in musick, the other has all the weird headings like Ecclesiastes the preacher and the revelation of St. JOHN the Divine, but no K in music-this is the first time I have been aware of variations within the changes.

I found residue!! For Isaiah 11:6! And a pastor who quotes the correct wording of Gen 3:15 which has now been changed in the KJV, and I posted a comment about these bible changes on their video! The pastor is Billy Crone and it's in his video "The Book of James 13" streamed on the 16th of May this year. I posted this comment:

"I love the clip of the loving animals, where someone quoted from the Bible saying the lion shall lay down with the lamb (48:14 mark) which I believe is from Isaiah 11:6 however the KJV actually states "the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb" (I remember it as "the lion shall lay down with the lamb" though). Also with regard to Pastor Billy preaching that Satan will ultimately be defeated as prophesied in Genesis 3:15, he said that the seed of the woman will crush the head of the serpent (35:55 mark) which I too believe is the correct wording, however the KJV states "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." "It" shall "bruise" thy head? Bit strange I thought??"

I have a Parallel Bible with the KJV, Modern Language, Living Bible and Revised Standard. On 40 pages the "s" is missing from Psalms. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are now "St" but only over the KJV version. Strange characters that look like an antique font "J" appear at the beginning of countless verses throughout, but only in the KJV. Those verses now read very different from the others.
I'm new to your channel, having found you through a comment just today so if you know of this change, my apologies. It hurt my heart to discover it, so I'm getting it off my chest. 1 Corinthians 13:4 is one of my favorite verses. To see the word Love has been replaced with charity 😢. Interestingly, this change is also only in the KJV.

Now, off to spend some time with my 1611 coffee table sized version... wonder if maps and photos are affected!

My OLD KJVs both say (Psalms 78:56): “Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies.” 🤷🏻 The oldest one is a BIG “family” Bible copyright around 1880, with TONS of study notes and helps, maps, etc., even the Apocrypha, and the entire New Testament in the back, but printed without chapter or verse numbering. Quite unique IMHO. The other is a normal sized KJV rebound about 30 years ago.

So: What is the BLUF? (Bottom Line Up Front) IF this “mandela effect” is real, and Bibles are being changed — to include hardcopies — then which hardcopy version(s) do you recommend?!? OR, do you have an online source to pull down information, to which we should go?!? 🤔
