it does actually work in repentance you just have to change the strategy a bit just read the comments for help

you can break the game before you enter boss and when you get into the boss room you use jera to fill up the room with coins n donate till machine jams and use diamond card after donating 50 coins then repeat till you run out of batteries

if you are playing repentance this kinda doesn't work but more characters means more times you have a 0% chance to jam so just waste all of your coins on a discounted items then you should be overpowered and you can save like 99 coins to put in the machine

REPENTANCE USERS BEWARE:
Blank Card + Jera doesn't work. You need Clear Rune + Jera, and even then the charge time is 12 rooms long and it will still be a challenge to break the game with it.
Blank Card + 2 of Diamonds is also nerfed in Repentance with a 12-room-long charge time just like Clear Rune + Jera.
Make sure if you're trying to break with this you have extra saved-up money for batteries (you'll need at least 10 coins for the batteries because the batteries only charge half of 12 room charge), and you leave extra money left over, as it's quite a bit harder to break the game with this combo in the new DLC.

TIP: Make good use of your first Clear Rune + Jera/Blank Card + 2 of Diamonds, because it's the only time you'll be able to use it with a 4-room charge unless you have the Butter! trinket.

TIP: If you can find the Butter! trinket, using Clear Rune or Blank Card will cause them to drop, and dropping will return the charge to 4 rooms, allowing both items to function essentially as they did in previous DLCs.

Okay so pretty much the strategy here is just you either want to get moving box starter deck backpack blank card or you want to get whatever item to carry batteries between floors blank card Yara glowing hourglass backpack that way if it jams you could just use glowing hourglass to get back out and go again until there's a time where it doesn't jam

Honestly, if you go through and get successful greed runs to get the greed unlocks for each character, you won't have to worry too much about your donations. Since Greed and Greedier share the same donation machine, you've got two separate runs with each character. If you haven't unlocked Keeper by the time you get through all of those runs, there's definitely something to be said for doing a blank card / two of diamonds run or a schoolbag / d20 run with a pickup generating item. You're likely to get that unlock before you finish out all of your greed/greedier unlocks though.

Alternative strategy:
Dont spend money on the last floor, you usually are op enough by then, so that you dont really need more items

If you are lucky, a Greed/Super Greed spawns in the room before the boss room, they always drop a lot of money

Plus if you got some bombs you can blow up the shop keepers in the two boss rooms for some extra coins

With this method I usually get something around 70 coins, while not having to get lucky to find a blank card etc.

considering how many characters on which you first need to greed to pass, and then also greedier, it's easier to just immediately play the grid on everyone on whom you can play the grid and donate extra money up to 500, and the same thing happens on the gridiere again, you will still open the keeper without even passing on all the characters, not to mention that you also added tainted characters

You can just beat Ultra greed and use a card against humanity BEFORE he explodes, and you can get golden poops all over the room

Hey, literally just did the blank card and diamonds glitch today and found this, for any repentance players, blank card and jera trick no longer works, and it is much better to get blank card and 2 of diamonds and try to find car battery, which will quadruple the amount of coins you get. If you get this synergy and reroll the shop until you find a battery, as long as you play it right and don't mess up, you can have infinite coins and buy everything in the game (eventually you'll get chaos)

D1 and D100 are also solid ways to break greed. Thats the strat I used since 2 dices allow for the break instead of just blank card. Dices also show up more in greed because of their weight.

in repentance: Echo Chamber + Blank card + 48 Hours Energy + 2 of Diamonds + The pill that makes you drop the last-used pill (So it keeps using the 2 of diamonds effect.)

Anorther method:

-break the run with D20 (or blank card with 2 of Diamonds, tarot clothes, double card slot and double active battery)
-get chaos
-wait to get "forget me now" and "backpack" for 2 active items
-go to last floor and defeat greed
-introduce all pennys you can in the coin machine, at least you need keep 20 coins to active blank card and
-use "forget me now" and repeat the floor (recommended only if you can oneshot greed)
-repeat the blank card method

I found it easy to just unlock greedily and just play as Lilith and get car battery and every familiar you can get (especially the familiar that drops batteries)

I found a bug in my not so legal switch emulator that if you donate to the machine, and then turn switch off when you log on you'll still have the same amount of coins you had and it counts on the machine

I'd argue that just playing greed mode normally is the best and easiest way. This is only easy IF you hit very specific points in your greed run, or ruin your streak by restarting constantly until you have the desired items.

Imo, while this was a lot more likely and far more effective in older versions; don't bother. Just play the game, if you break it go nuts, if not, enjoy the game.

step one: select a character (because jam chance increases) then play tainted cain in co-op. so you have Player 1s jam chance (or whoever puts in the coins).
step two: tainted cain.
step three: profit.
