Hi I am working on a 2006 Nissan Titan 5.6

-This are the symptoms i had-
1. Wont go past 2500 RPM
2. No power while pressing gas pedal
3. Sometimes stalls at a red light
4. Hesitating badly

the problem was a weak fuel pump , after replacing it the truck start it right up and was running strong , problem was fix.

I din't record how we removed the fuel tank but you can find other videos on youtube on how to do it

this video is mostly to show you how I fix my problem ,

that's exactly what I am going thru with my Armada !!!! I was driving home last night and as soon as i backed up into the driveway the truck shut off, I cranked it back up and it started right away.I left it where it was hopefully, I can make it to the Mechanic.

Now me & my wife have your exact truck & i mean the 2006 nissan titan 5.6 yes we now own it it still have the same line dent on the passenger side & now we are having the same problem GOD IS GOOD i went on YouTube to get answers & your you Tube came up & when i seen the truck & the line dent on the passenger side i tripped out laughing the truck is pretty much the same just always a fuel issue other than that she get up & go with no problem what a coincidence we have your old truck i go to YouTube & there it is this is too funny 😂

You don't have to remove the tank. There's a panel to remove underneath the 2nd row drivers seat. Cut the carpet.

Change the fuel filter too .
And keep the gas over 1/4 full .
The gas in the tank cools the pump.
Running on fuel light is bad on the intake pump

It needs. Marvel Mystery Oil. You can add it to the gas and also to the motor oil follow all instructions on bottle. Lubricates fuel system pumps cleans lines and injectors valves spark plugs removes carbon etc....It brought my truck back to life !

I found out it was bad fuel at Krogar. I poured in additives from Advanced auto part store. About 8 bucks. And drove for week. It worked. So try that first.

I have a friend who made a hole in his suburban floor to do a fp job, he did it successfully and earned him self a free cavity check at the border because TSA saw his floor patch 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you for this video! I have an 02 frontier XE and my truck does the exact same thing especially on a hill. I’ll definitely take it in to get the fuel pump checked out

thanks man, mine has the same problem, I've checked the purge valve, MAF, Idle control valve, and pcv valve all are good. I could not check, are the IAC and the Gas Pump. I'm not a mechanic😜 and so don't have the tools to check the pump pressure or get to the IAC. So it is either the IAC or the gas pump, have not checked either yet. but now with your video I truly think its the pump. exact same problems I have on my 2000 xterra. thanks.
