Very interesting. I'm slowly getting more confidence to try something like this. I'm handy with an airbrush and things like that, just never worked on shoes. Great job Vic🤘🏼

How long do you leave it in the coffee? Couple mins or hours? And hot or cold coffee? Every other coffee dye I see is too brown, this is perfect.

I did the same thing with my heritage 1’s minus the coffee dunk and glue stains.

Painted the swoosh black.
Died the tongues.
Cream laces.

My most worn shoe the last year and a half.

Did Vick acetone the uppers before the coffee treatment? Or just straight from the box to the tank?

Would love to see this done to a pair of Neutral Grey ‘85 lows

Looking to do this on the metallic navy's; did he acetone the whole shoe before dipping it in coffee? Were there shoe-trees in the shoe when it was placed in there? Is it necessary to boil the coffee and water or can you just put the coffee grounds in lukewarm water and dip the sneaker?

-thanks

love these customs so much! you put so many awesome details in, my favorite on this one is probably the aged midsole look after the marker because I felt like that made the biggest difference, especially the factory consistent DS look of it. I gotta get one of those midsole markers but they’re sold out and they’re so damn expensive like 20 bucks for a marker. Does anyone know a cheaper alternative to foxtrot uniform that actually works?

Is there a difference between using the towel or shoe tree to shape the toebox?

Love this simple custom. Could you also do a custom to Chicago lows and show the exact ratio 1:1 of angelus paint from the Chicago red? 🙏
