David Hunt - How Free is God?

God has rules he must follow as well.. there are rules to the spiritual world just as there are rules to the physical world.

So if God Knows what I'm going to do before it happens does that mean my actions have already been determined?

I don't see how the omniscience of a God can be made compatible with human free will in this way.
If God knows what decision I make BECAUSE I make that decision, then I would be able to manipulate the knowledge of a god. Even more, the knowledge of this poor god would be changed every time people use their free will. He would be a slave to our desires. This seems to me a rather adventurous rescue attempt from the dilemma.

If we go down the path of applying specific properties to a god, we might as well go the whole hog and give it an intelligent mind, which is likely to have the same complexities of life that us "mere humans" suffer. I was kind-of hoping for that angle in the Buddhist immortality video, because we inevitably end up with the problems of birth, death and immortality.

Mr. Hunt is merely wiggling woo woo words in defense of imaginary woo woo.
The way folks can talk themselves into these odd positions without objectively thinking it through the least little bit is always surprising.
