I am reminded from what I recall from having studied the Book of Job what God said to Job, "Who are you, o man, ...(and) Where were you when I created. . ."

Time. One of the big questions of life, God, the Big Bang and any reality.

What we need is an understanding of 'time' as a physical process explained by physics!

With all due respect in Persian islamic mysticism and philosophy all these questions answered perfectly, specially in molla sadra philosophy.the only way infinite can reach itself to us is through limiting itself and with limitations comes entities and time and space are children of of entities which recognized by their limitations.

To me:
"Space" is pure energy itself;
"Time" is the flow of that energy.

I think our experience of present-only time has to do with the fact that we are finite. As such, there's not enough time for the infinities to resolve. the infinities are there but we can't experience them...not long enough present moments, we would need infinite present moments in order to experience the infinities.

could there be time from backward causation, as space from causation of physical nature (time and space in opposite directions)?

Now that is a an honest person. "i m inclined to think that way.... ". Nicely put. Not like blinded and brain washed theists or atheists.

A common misconception is to mix up "time" with "measurement"of time. Since God existed before the universe, of course God and God's existence - at that time - have nothing to do with our time measured in "Years...hours..seconds". However, a "God's time" existed even before the universe! Why? Because you are SURE that God at that time had to make DECISIONS concerning our life and our universe. When God made those decisions of course He was experiencing A NEED to make those decisions. But that phase cannot last forever: AFTER those decisions were made, that NEED DID NOT EXIST anymore. This means that God experienced some "BEFORES" and "AFTERS" making decisions, and this SHOWS EXISTENCE OF TIME. Thus, TIME EXISTED also before the birth of our universe, even if it is not possible to provide a MEASUREMENT for that "special God's time".

There are two aspects to time. One is a sequence of events. The second one is a measureable, and often expected, rate of change.

The sequence of events is, this happened then that happened. The measurable change is ageing, things wearing out, things moving at a somewhat expected rate.

A sequence of events aspect of time has existed ever since Infinite Source first flowed into the void and will continue for infinity.

The measureable change aspect of time only exists outside of heaven. Any being in heaven can access the material universe simulation at any point, like watching only your favorite part of a DVD movie. To God and beings in heaven the material universe has already run it's development course.

God can't be dated? This is incorrect but I cannot reveal the number.

These men have no idea how God made us believe in time, space and matter, which are only illusions to the characters ( created beings ) in God's simulation game.

How do you think about god's relationship to time?

Time exists, god doesn't.

Solved.

A more fruitful question: Alien vs. Predator? We all know Alien and Predator are fictional so everyone's garbage filter is working for that topic. Not sure about this one though.

Face it, no human knows anything about any god. People have guesses, wishes, and wild ideas. Humans will never know anything about any god because none exist.
