I’m so happy that people like this are fading out of our culture. We can finally flourish without superstition or religious bigotry.

Who wanted to cry when he asked for the answer to "Jesus is (Lord)" and nobody knew what to say?

Where do deists such as Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine and Benjamin Franklin fit into the Founding Fathers Christian schematic?

God doesn't possibly exist, just like Jesus didn't possibly rise from the dead, just like the Bible is possibly true. No, God does exist, Jesus did rise from the dead and the Bible is true, how do I know this? God is a God of certainty and truth as Jeff stated. Jesus Himself is the Truth (John 14:6) as God's Word is truth (John 17:17). God reveals Himself through creation as Romans 1 states that His divine power and Godhead are clearly seen in creation, creation is God's self revelation and is absolute proof that He exists. Where there is order and design there is an intelligent mind behind it, so it's the same with what we see in the world around us. Without starting with God, you are just left with possibilities and opinions, no one cares for opinions, we want truth as we fight for the truth and study to know facts. You reject God you reject truth, logic, reason etc... Cornelius Van Til I really am starting to love, I recommend anything by him on apologetics.

How does one prove something through the impossibility of the contrary? How does one arrive at that knowledge? Better yet, how does one know?

Presuppositionalists always miss one clear distinction, namely that you can't definitively prove your own ability to reason. Any such proof would have to assume that ability to begin with.
Now I have no issue assuming our ability to reason. Indeed, you have to assume it if you want to go on and think anything about anything else whatsoever. Neither do I have an issue with saying that atheism is impossible, because it undercuts the very ability to reason that atheists use to prove God is not real.
But this does not change the fact that assuming we can reason is still an assumption. We could always be crazy, and there's no way for us to know that we aren't.

Krishna, Christ — Same Name

“…I am the seed-giving Father.”

— Krishna, in BG 14:4

I used to think that Jesus claimed to be God, and I used to think that he resurrected from the dead. I also used to think that that was a good argument for his divinity.

However, I have realized three things about that argument:

1. Jesus did not claim to be God.

2. Jesus did not rise from the dead.

3. If Jesus died, then he was not God.

Jesus was definitely not God, but he helped me to get to the Father (God):

Why don't you also come to the Father?

Jesus called God "Father, ”
and he also said that he was the way to the Father:

Why not prove Jesus right by going to the Father?

The Father's name is Krishna.

In fact, the title Christ is etymologically derived
from God's original name, Krishna.

The name is the same.

You may translate Krishna into Christ, but the subject matter is the same -- there is only one God -- and God (Krishna) is the person to whom the title Christ ultimately refers. As the video makes clear, the title Christ means "anointed of God, " and the name Krishna means "God.”

The Bible states, in a series of verses decrying the practice of idolatry, that only the Father is God, and that Jesus is not God. Idolatry is the practice of accepting someone or something as God when that someone or something is not actually God:

"But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

— 1 Corinthians 8:6

Therefore, accepting Jesus (or anyone other than the Father) as God is idolatry.

The links included prove conclusively that the English title Christ is derived from the Sanskrit name Krishna. Different languages, same meaning.

Here is the origin of the English word Christ,
with confirmation from independent linguistic authorities

(please view the following video):

Be sure to view the evidence
from independent linguistic authorities
that fully supports the facts presented in the video:

(1:48) -- Indo-European root ghrei- or ghrey:

(2:09) -- Greek khriein:

(2:32) -- Greek khristos:

(3:04) -- Christus (Latin, German):

Good grief, really? You can't prove God doesn't exist is a counter to, you can't prove He does exist? I'm afraid not, It's a point of no consequence. I can't prove God doesn't exist, but that isn't evidence he does, He still might not exist despite it. We believe things true when we can show they are, not when we can't show they aren't, otherwise to be consistent you'd be believing in all the things you haven't proven don't exist. Do you see how irrational that would be?

So Christians are the leaders of scientific thought yet you reject the scientific theory of evolution (the theory of gravity is also a scientific theory, by the way). I am an atheist and came here through your pro-life videos, of which I share a strong kinship with you on that front. And I gathered your stance of rejecting the theory of evolution from those videos. Have a good one!

People realize that Apologia have been using the triquetra for years now, right? Or did that just kinda slip by everyone lol.
Seriously, the pagan/celtic origin of the symbol means nothing, it's how the symbol is being used and applied. I couldn't think of a better symbol to represent holy trinity if I tried -- it's perfect when you think about it. If you really want to go down this route, then I guess we should also stop using the cross as a Christian symbol too.
