How Does Teleportation Work?

The idea that something—or someone?—can be dematerialized in one place and then reconstituted somewhere else is something straight out of Star Trek. But is teleportation a real thing, too? Chalking it up to “quantum funkiness,” mechanical engineer Seth Lloyd explains how and why it works.

This was before it was proved that entangled teleportation can be achieved 10, 000 times faster than light in 2018 at a record distance of 750 miles from 61 years earlier.

The question would then have to be, if quantum entanglement allows for instantaneous copying of matter over distance, why does the original have to disintegrate in order for the copy to materialize?

Great subject, what would prevent the device from making more then one copy. And when you are getting old you just make another copy from that time you teleported the first time, sure your memory you had gathered after the teleportation would be lost, but you will have a young body and mind again.

When I was 7yrs old my mom would get abused by her x. We used to live in a small RV in Florida, so it was always next to me. One night it was so bad I had the strongest feeling I wanted to be at my dads in MI, so I feel asleep and when I woke up. I was at my dads, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I read a book series recently, mentioned how the main charachter could teleport
