I have a hard time writing off a real twin flame connection as a spiritual distraction mainly because I met mine when I was married to a narcissist and literally on a path to my worst version. I was sleeping in past 10 everyday, no purpose, addictions, impulsive. Then I met my twin in the most orchestrated way imaginable and it tore my life apart in many ways. It showed me what real love felt like, but it also took me to hell and back. I had major attachment issues from alcoholic parents etc that were forced to heal for the first time.

I only discovered the twin flame term after meeting the essence of myself in another person and having synchronicities stalk me.

I have actually questioned the Matrix itself and if it can present false synchronicities. I’ve also observed how toxic many twin flame teachings are on YouTube because they feed this obsessive chasing energy. This is where I feel the phenomenon can be both real but also exploitative, by means of influencers and gurus who are now making a living off people’s emotional pain.

I have also questioned why all of a sudden twin flames is a thing, what purpose does it serve. But, I do know that the love I feel for him is real and it broke me out of a very toxic marriage where I was weak and constantly invalidated. At least now I am no longer that person, I’m actually sovereign and to that extent I cannot honestly say the twin flame phenomena is merely about soul harvesting because it has set me on a path to my highest version.

I think it’s possible we do live in a reality where energy is harvested and unfortunately twin flames are heavily preyed upon, but that’s not the same thing as saying that twin flames were created merely for that need. At the end of the day, if you’re relying on teachings online and not your intuition then you’re probably not a twin flame. A real twin flame connection is an energy so intense that you cannot energetically detach, no matter how much you want to. They are always felt in your heart which isn’t a bad thing because it’s kinda beautiful when you can go anywhere in the world and never truly feel alone.

For the last three and a half years I felt that the bond I had was astral manipulation, and it totally led me down a ungrounded multidimensional path. The two of us have both suffered trauma. It was not trauma that originally brought us together it was domestic animals and wildlife. The two of us have rescued animals and protected people. I do believe trauma is something we both can learn from and help others with including animals. We do compliment one another. My question is can those who have suffered trauma also be Twin Flames?

OMG! This was the truth I was looking for. I know my ex is my twin because meeting him was a catalyst for my spiritual awakening. BUT he is a Covert narcissist and I've been stuck in trauma bonding long after the discard because we share a child. I have had cognitive dissonance because I know he's my TF(confirmed by God) but I recognized the mental illness too. This video helped me to understand the truth in both sides.

So difficult to say whether what we ve been through is a trauma bond or a TF… especially when the partner has narcissistic traits.. and the narcissistic cycle was there…☹️ What do you think?
