Sometimes it's really easy to get so comfortable in church because of the Holy Ghost that it's really easy to just go to sleep simply because you're so comfortable and because the Holy Ghost brings so much comfort to your soul

I do not comment on any YouTube. However, I agree to disagree! I have to say that my pastor is not boring. I go to bed at 8 pm every day. And I do want to be in church. I drink enough coffee, and still sleepy at sermon time 😢

Im struggling with this... No matter how hard i try i keep nodding off during the service. I dont know if its the holy spirit putting me at ease or if its evil trying ro make me miss out on the sermon..

I do have sleeping issues at night but i dont feel tired until about 15mins in. And my pastors are not boring i want to hear there sermon

"Uncontrollable events that prevent them from getting sleep the night before"...thank you. I have nightmares, neighbors who keep me up with loud music, family who watch TV all day and at night, spiritual attacks, and just sheer exhaustion from this trial and relationships and other things.

I don't want this to continue. I want to be healed/my life healed and have a quiet and rest, and things in life to sync up inside and out, so I can be useful.

I need physical and spiritual rest/refreshment and I am not getting either. I do not get rest or refreshment in my family's house. The TV prohibits me from getting physical rest and sleep, and it also is the world and flesh non stop so I don't get any spiritual restoration, til I am so exhausted in all ways with no way out or way to leave and they won't shut it off, and I am an exhausted zombie stating at the wall or the carpet with no thoughts, just worn out. And then the church is so quick to judge me and offer useless advice when I am pressed in on every side with no place to rest or sleep or restore. It would a mercy if a tree branch or the snow fell and broke the TV dish. God broke my iPod once when I forgot it was in my pocket and washed it, and he brought to mind how many times I listened to songs that were not glorifying Him.

I think some people fall asleep in church because they are spiritually asleep. Their spirit is not open and hungry and receptive. Maybe they are saved, but due to a lack of feeding and disciplining their spirit in "non church" times, their spirit is not attuned and, therefore, easily lulled into slumber.

My friend made me go to church with her and i aint religious so i fell asleep bc i was bored :)

My brothers suffers to go to sleep he almost stays awake for days and has a lot of energy even tho he tries to go to bed . but as soon as he hears any gospel or any preaching about God he falls asleep . He says he feels comfortable and at peace . Anyone knows why ?
