Should you Upgrade your WiFi Router to Wifi 6 - Ft. Netgear Nighthawk AX6

After having persistent Wifi issues at home I've decided to fix it for good.

I'm upgrading to a high end Wifi 6 router in the Netgear Nighthawk AX6

What impact does it have on internet download speeds, signal strength and ping and will it have a big impact to Virtual Desktop on the Oculus Quest 2 and VR/ Online gaming in general.

Awesome vid! Are you using a noise/sound gate on your microphone though? I can hear it cutting out At the ends of your words I think. You probs don’t need it if you’re in a silent room. 😎 Maybe I’m mistaken on what I’m hearing, but just an idea. Thanks for the great info here!

Nice Video. Easily understandable even with the topic being really rather complicated. I'm not an expert either but I'm curious what would happen if u hook your new router up directly to your pc over Ethernet and have the router itself right next to the computer. Like a dedicated quest access point. Would wifi6 be beneficial in that scenario for playing wireless quest? I know that's not practical for a lot of people but I have a spare router that I could hook up like that.

Great video. I ordered one Sunday and should get it today. Cable co routers are junk these days. I have a NAS and it took me 2 hours to get it set up with cables router. How about a tutorial on the nighthawks AX6 web GUI?

I'm considering an upgrade from my Oculus Rift (CV1) and i want to know if the G2 or the Quest 2 is the "better buy" .. should i buy the G2 headset only and play with the oculus touch sensors+ controllers or go for the quest 2 ?? i'm running 1080 TI and I7-8700K
I'm playing Onward and racing sims.
