If you get a one ft or shorter ethernet cable and a tp link extender thingy you can actually have fantastic wifi for dirt cheap, take it from me

I currently have the att gateway that I believe is a router/modem. How can I get the deco pro 6E tie and mesh system to improve my WiFi signal around missing spots inside my house. Is it a good idea to used the mesh units as access points or as a second router?

Good video. I’m actually looking into a pf sense build for my next router and just wire my house with Ethernet cables and WAPs.

This may be a dumb question but I live in the a rural area and have frontier internet. I pay the $100 for what they say is great internet and It hasn’t been that great. I like to play 2k (a video game) with friends and It hasn’t allowed me too. Do any of the routers mentioned help fix my problem? Any advance would be great. I also need to stream 5 TVs for the NFL Sunday ticket every Sunday.

Hey, I have Lan wires running throughout my 2500sq ft apartment, but the walls are half a foot of concrete. Plus, it's crowded with a lot of ffurnitures. As a budget option which of the three i should go for?
a) Install a basic dual band router as an access point in each room, with same SSID. Will it have seamless roaming?
b) Install a Mesh Network. if (a) doesnt give me sealess roaming.
c) Get Wifi 6 router (for good range), and install OneMesh extenders (tp link's propritory codex). Note: One mesh doesn't support wired Back hauling.
More importantly if i use my Deco(s) as Access Point, (ISP Modem doesnt support bridge mode), will i be able to take benefit of mesh, or will it be equivalent to (b)?

What can I buy to boost my mesh when my satellites are far from the main router?

Great video.
My country isp provider have the issue of having router in bridge mode.
Router used is always in access point mode which I lost all my control.

Is there any suggestion on such that I can regain my bridge mode?

My present set up is 1 Ap router with 2 mesh. Which I find the speed kind of sluggish.

Isp >> router 1 (Ap mode) >>router 2 (bridge mode)???

My main issue seems to stem from me having my virgin hub in modem only mode so that I can use my mesh router system. I have an Asus DSL-AX82U Router and then 2 RT-AX92U, although so far I only have one of those connected up. I know I need to hard wire that to improve it, but where I am noticing slow speeds is my main PC which is LAN to my router and then to Virgin Hub. I am supposed to be getting over 1GB but at best I am hitting 750MB. Every post I have seen is saying it is because I am setting my Hub in Modem only mode. That is correct as I thought in order to get the wifi from my "better" system, this was what I had to do.

Now you mentioned Bridge mode?? Is this another name for modem only mode, or is there another way that I can achieve this. Scared to change things at the moment as I remember having all sorts of issues getting my new Virgin (switched from Sky) set up in this way, but would really love to at least get near the broadband speed tests to give everything else on the mesh a fighting chance!

I will have to look in to this "bridge" mode to see how I can achieve that
