Being too nice is a problem that I've dealt with a lot in my life. About five years ago I changed though. I realized the people who I surround myself with know I'm a generous person. I had a bad habit (especially at work) of helping what I thought was the weaker person. There's nothing wrong with that. But I quickly realized that I was just enabling lazy people to be lazy. Same thing with women. For the longest time I'd kiss their ass too much. Then I'd see friends of mine just be an asshole or not care what a certain girl might think of them. Those friends got laid all the time and I got friend zoned. I still believe in being a gentleman and as we all got older the asshole friends ended up with miserable lives. But the men in my circle that were confident and assertive still seemed to thrive with women. I never was a guy who was timid or shy by any means. I've always felt like an alpha type personality. But I learned to understand that when it came to females? I was way too nice and cared way too much about whether I was good enough for them. I had rejection issues with girls too. These days I've changed dramatically tho. I understand it's ok to be turned down and you never know until you try. I also realized that I am a smart, strong, good looking guy and those girls I like? Well they are people just like me. Not some mountain top that's out of my reach. A lot of my problems stemmed from not having a mother when I was young. In time though if you try and as you put it, are honest with yourself about your flaws? Well things can change. And quickly. Thanks again for the vides Alpha. Love the channel.

I stopped watching alpha m videos a while ago. My life slid down hill, I stopped working out, I became a stoner, started smoking cigarettes, lost a lot of people, my style game is wack… I needed to hear the honesty. I have a kid coming now. I need to set a good example. Thank you!

Sometimes putting yourself first is the best thing you could do! When, I was making all those mental and physical changes in my early 20's, I found it order to become a better person, I had to be more selfish. I know "selfish" is associated with something bad but, I found another kind of selfish that I call "positive selfishness" in which, you say no more because you do not want to commit to things you cannot commit to. And doing things that make you help or improve one' as a person in order to become a better person for oneself and other individuals.
